Aaaahhhhh. So much nicer...new and improved and yet still wonderful, soothing blue D-land.

It's kind of silly how relieving it was to see the blue again.

I'm feeling very tired. Again. Still. Seems that's all I ever say anymore. The temperature is up for a few days and that means no bulky jacket. Means I can open the windows tomorrow and air the place out.

I just don't feel like doing anything. Dragon Baby is having such trouble in school. He's so smart. He's killer smart about history, especially American war history. But he's failing three subjects, including SOCIAL STUDIES!!! What. The hell. Dragging information out of him is torture...for ME...I get e-mails from his teacher every other day letting me know the work he's missing. Christ, I thought I was done dealing with this crap when I graduated.

Well, on a happier and more interesting note, Dragon Baby and I were talking about other places to live and he said he'd probably want to move to Tennessee or Virginia when he gets old enough, which I was quite happy to hear. Then I wouldn't feel so bad if I move to Florida. In fact he'd be a lot closer to me.

Florida is looking very appealing lately. Winter was so bad, I felt cold all the time, even if it wasn't really very cold. It would be hard...I do love the snow, looking at it I mean...listening to it fall at night, under a dark sky. But the nasty reality of it...maybe I'll just come visit the snow every few years. Dexter will probably stay in Illinois anyway, so I'd have to come see him regularly.

I'm going to rest now.
