Snow, snow on the ground for...two weeks? It was a while ago, six or seven years? We had a winter even worse, snowed and snowed and piled up and didn't melt until nearly spring time. It was so strange to see the ground after endless piles of snow, all covered with dirt most of it, ugly. It affected the migration patterns of the Canadian geese in our area. We'd always been invaded in the springs and they'd stay all summer. Big, obnoxious geese in your backyard, goose poop all over the sidewalks. But with all the snow they couldn't see the ponds, there was no open water. Now they haven't come back.

Spring is a while off. Cold and more cold.

Did a furious shift yesterday, just five hours but it flew by. It was fun, good exercise. Since leaving ECC I think I've already lost a couple of pounds, more running around, longer shifts. Helpful.

I don't want to go out in the cold but I have a head doc appointment and have to go to the post office. Actually I don't HAVE to go inside, so I think I won't. I do need to go to the library, I almost forgot that. I have to go gather the DVDs.
