I have a standing liberty quarter sitting on the desk next to me. I forget how to code the link, you'll just have to trust me that they're rare. I saw it in my till at Sbux and traded it out. None of the girls at the store had ever heard of them. That's because they were made from 1916 to 1932, when they were replaced with the Washington quarter.

This one's probably not worth more than $5 as it's not one of the coveted pre-1917 design change (Liberty was exposing her breskie!) and the date is completely worn off. Which means it's probably pre-1925. But these were made of 90% silver and 10% copper.

Modern quarters are about 90% copper and 10% nickel.

I think. It might be a good omen.
