Had an encounter with VolvoGuy. Encounter meaning he came in to the store and I flirted shamelessly with him... oh, only for about, a minute.

VolvoGuy lives in my neighborhood, but I'd only noticed him after I started to work at Bux. He came in every couple of days. One day last winter he asked whose Volvo station wagon that was outside.

Christ, not another flat tire! I thought immediately. But no, turns out this guy in the goofy winter hat (one of the old fashioned yarn types with the loud winter design and the earflaps and the long strings) has a thing for Volvos, especially the station wagons. He owns several and rebuilds them and damn the man would not shut up about these cars. It was kind of cute.

This past summer he told me if I ever needed advice about repairs I could ask him. And being totally genuine about it I believe. Unless I'm just really stupid. I have been known to have flirting fly right over my head. But really, he was just being nice.

And knowing how my drive is right now...well, he's just the most adorable wholesome, cleancut, neat, regular, MARRIED guy. I want to break him, seriously I'd like to make this guy beg.

That is not right. I should not want that. And so the harmless extra-sweet smile, and the look (this look I know gives guys ideas, I get the urge to use it when I'm...you know) and the teasing about where's his thermal cup (he left it in the car at home in the garage). No more of that. No. It is BAD. Because he is a customer and there can be no jeapordizing of my job, not even for a little flirting and teasing.
