*-TOO MUCH INFORMATION

Well...shoot. No chance to better my impression today. Mr. GreyEyes did not come through on my shift. I'm still a bit upset about yesterday. More than just a bit upset actually. A man whom I find not only physically attractive but mentally interesting gave me an unexpected compliment, the first such I've had in nearly two years, and I come back like barista Barbie.

I know I shouldn't blow it out of proportion so.

So we're not going to speak of it again, right? The only way to make it fade is to NOT obsess.

Please at least give me a chance to redeem my intelligence with him? Please?

We did get to work with JMan today! He was there when I was first hired, then graduated from high school, went away to college. Now he's back for vacation and though his regular store is now one town over he worked a shift at our store this morning. He's quite tall and slender, blonde, with a deep voice. We call it the pilot voice. When he answers drive through he sounds like a pilot making end-of-flight announcements. Sometimes he'll answer the bell with that deep voice but say one of the girls' names...too funny. He says, when I was signing out on the book at the end of my shift, "You can't leave! I have to work until one, you have to stay and work with me!" He's really adorable, especially since he's letting his hair grow and his beard grow out a bit, just a bit scruffy looking. It looks good on him.
