I can't find my friends.

That is, two of them. I've emailed both of them, at a couple of different addresses apiece. They haven't answered. I wanted to talk to someone about this grove stuff, someone outside the grove but who also knows everyone involved. That was...three days ago. They haven't answered yet.

I did some more research on this Michelle Belanger. Let me tell you, this woman gives me the fucking creeps without even having met her. And the three of them are rhapsodic about the workshop she gave.

She wrote a book called The Psychic Vampire Codex. You'll find a pared down version here.

And Lori asked me if I wanted to try this energy manipulation work with them.

No. Not just no, but FUCK no. Now...the technique they learned does not include sucking out anyone's psychic energy. It's the channeling and direction of outsided energies, like you draw from the earth. This is covered in the Psychic Energy Codex Manual. But I don't care, I don't want to learn anything taught by a PSYCHIC VAMPIRE. And it really bothers me that they have NO problem with this person and what she represents.

Now...I don't believe I (or anyone) can debate on something they haven't studied. So I ordered the Vampire Codex book from the library (I'm not putting any money in this woman's pocket by buying it) and we'll see what we'll see. I couldn't find the other book yet, the energy codex.

I still don't know how I'm going to deal with the change in the ritual. It really hurt my feelings that my opinion wasn't asked before the change was made, or even told about it just before the ritual. I'm a senior and founding member of this grove. I deserve more respect than that.
