The Worm Has Turned

My hands are numb. Numb and sore and swollen. Because of all the renewed vigorous use of them. All the grasping and clasping for four and eight hours at a time.

I should be in bed right now because I have to open tomorrow, have to be there at five a.m. But my hands get much worse when I sleep. I woke up this morning feeling as if my hands were swathed in tight bandages.

My mind keeps pinging back and forth about everything. I think I'm doing okay, maybe even pretty good. But what if I'm not? I haven't gotten to the really hard part yet, the scary rushing part.
